How It All Began
Kelp Kiss was born at the intersection of two worlds—a marine engineer's connection to the ocean and a natural product scientist's expertise in skincare ingredient research.
During his sailing journeys across coastal regions, Jyotiraditya became intrigued by the growing interest surrounding seaweed and its applications around the world. Curious about its potential, he discussed it with his wife, Shreya, a chemist and natural product scientist with a PhD in natural extracts and a background in skincare and personal care R&D.

As they explored the science behind seaweed, they discovered a growing body of research highlighting its potential in skincare. Yet despite increasing global interest, seaweed remained relatively unexplored in the Indian skincare market.
The answer became Kelp Kiss—a brand dedicated to exploring the potential of seaweed and marine ingredients through thoughtfully formulated skincare inspired by the ocean and guided by science.

As a marine engineer, Jyotiraditya's experiences at sea sparked the curiosity that led to Kelp Kiss. Through his exposure to coastal ecosystems and the growing global interest in seaweed, he recognized the untapped potential of marine ingredients and helped shape the brand's ocean-inspired vision.
